Experienced mountain bikers won’t find this mountain bike route difficult. Nevertheless, there are a few descents with a reasonable rock’n’roll dimension.
Consider the first 7 km as a warm-up: they mainly take you over asphalt to higher altitudes. From Elsenborn onwards, the road only gets better: beautiful single trails, wonderful views, Reinhardstein castle, the High Fens, the Warche valley. In summer, the vegetation can be very high. Be on your guard for ticks.
Scenery: beautiful! +/- 60 % off-road.
