Kids’ walk in Bütgenbach
Start at the barbecue hut in Bütgenbach: car park, picnic facilities and a nature trail in the forest (1 km): a great discovery forest! The walk is varied: water, climbing, and also a section of the cycle path RAVeL.
Path over the Warche – climb up the stairs – down – walk up the dam road – second path to the left – on the RAVeL cycle path to the right. After the viaduct, take the first path to the left, under the viaduct back to the car park (pavement).
Tipp
Sights: Dam wall and the remains of Bütgenbach castle. You can easily extend the circular walk: walk along the lake to Bütgenbach’s old station and back on the RAVeL cycle path = 1 km longer.
