The varied area around Elsenborn and Berg offers space for every migratory and winter visitor. We walk past the military training area through meadow landscapes with plenty of rowan berries, which provide food for many thrushes, to the lake surrounded by woodland, which attracts many water birds such as ducks, mergansers and cormorants. The route then leads through a hilly hedgerow landscape back to Elsenborn.
