The varied area around Elsenborn and Berg offers every migratory and winter guest its space. We walk past the military training area through meadow landscapes with abundant rowan berries, which provide food for many thrushes, to the wooded lake, which attracts many water birds such as ducks, mergansers, and cormorants. Afterwards, the trail leads through a hilly hedgerow landscape back to Elsenborn.
