CREATING BUSTS WITH ANNE in Bütgenbach
In this course, busts are modelled. In concrete terms, this means moulding them, giving them the desired shape with plaster, sanding them, decorating them with fabrics or bling bling and finally coating them with epoxy resin.
Each participant can create their own individual bust, depending on their taste.
Whether you want a thin or a more voluptuous model, anything is possible.
There are also no limits to your imagination when it comes to the design. The busts can be painted with silver or gold paint, if desired, then dressed with cloths or covered with “bling bling” (stones and other materials) on an additional Saturday.
Finally, the whole thing is coated with epoxy resin so that the bust can be easily cleaned of dust and impurities. All in all, it’s a great experience where every participant can work according to their own taste and imagination.
The course will take place on 3 – 4 Saturdays and will last approximately 2 to 4 hours, depending on the work step.
The first date is on 11 May 2024 at 14:00. As drying times must be taken into account, all subsequent dates and times will be discussed internally in the group with the course instructor.
UKB for members is €20 per afternoon and €22 for non-members plus material costs. These amount to around €35 – €50 material costs for the complete bust. (depending on the design and current prices)
Please bring a picnic for in-between for those who like, as well as an apron, gloves and a dust mask if required.
