Biotope maintenance campaign in the “Mausheck”

On Wednesday, 14 August 2024, all nature lovers will have the opportunity to help with biotope maintenance work on the Mausheck nature trail in Bütgenbach. Scrub clearance, path maintenance and mowing are important measures to preserve this unique biotope. Working together with AVES animator Gerhard Reuter, the participants will learn lots of interesting facts about our flora and fauna. The work camp takes place from 09.00 to 14.00. If you can, please bring a pitchfork and/or a rake, as well as work gloves and provisions. Due to weather-related cancellations, registration is recommended.
