This first tour of the year first takes us down into the wild, narrow valley of the Bayehon stream. Over numerous root passages and stony paths, we head towards the source, past the waterfall and the “oak of oaks”. The way back leads us back up into the open fen landscape of the Neûr Lowé Venn, with a view of the highest point in Belgium. A varied tour with lots of information about the history, flora and fauna of the High Fens.
Dogs are allowed on a leash:
